Basic Kit for Art Journalling

Mediums

• Gesso - White
• Texture/Modelling Paste
• Archival ink - black
• Doodle/shading pens
• Glue - PVA & glue stick covers most things we do
• Something for splatters - i.e. black, white, gold, silver etc

Tools

• Work surface mat
• Heat Tool (or use the ones here)
• Selection of paint Brushes - including a fan brush for splatters
• Sponge / Dauber / Blending tools
• palette knife / credit card
• Scissors
• Water spray bottle

Other handy items

• Baby wipes
• paper towel
• white cardstock (good for stamping titles or backing stickers etc)

With the above Basic Kit you would add the extras for each week,  which generally include:

• Colour: Oxides, Watercolours, Acrylic Paint, Sprays
• Stamps - background and/or feature
• Stencils
• ephemera & embellishments

AND - Don't forget your Journal!
